Shocking footage from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, showed a mob of bystanders beat a man who reportedly was trying to flee after stealing a phone.

The footage, filmed on Luthuli Street on the morning of December 3, shows the vicious encounter as a circle of men punch and kick the alleged thief, severely injuring him.

The filmer added: "After I stopped filming, the police were alerted by the nearby guards about the incident. The thief was later taken to hospital after the arrival of the policemen."

This man snatched a mobile phone from a street-mobile-shop, along Lithuli Street, one of the busiest streets of Nairobi, Kenya. What followed next was an instant mob justice!
The man tried to sneak away, but Kenya is the home of runners, he couldn’t escape. He was caught, beaten half-to-death, “as an evidence of thorough-beating, the thief pooped on spot”. Finally, the he was stoned pap, on his head. May he serve as a lesson to all street thieves out there.
