This dog lost its calm after coming face to face with what it thought was its competitor.

Amused onlookers filmed the video of the dog barking at its reflection while looking into the mirror.

The incident took place on Oct. 20 in northern India's Muzaffarpur district.

Visuals show a man holding a mirror in his hands facing it towards the dog when suddenly the quadruped starts barking at its reflection.

The onlookers are amused every time the dog reacts to the mirror brought to it by the man.

Every time the dog sees its reflection in the mirror, it jumps up in an attempt to fight its competitor.

Unwilling to give up its territory to this contender, it continues to bark to scare the reflection away.

This is not the first time an animal has behaved in such a way when facing its reflection.
