This is the horrific moment a man suffers seizures while driving, causing him to lose control of the steering wheel and ramming into parked vehicles and lamp post in south Indian state of Karnataka.

The footage shows the vehicle suddenly starting to veer off the road, missing at least three pedestrians by a whisker and hitting a tuk-tuk before finally crashing into a lamp post.

The incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras, took place on December 4 near a bus stand in Uttara Kannada district's Bhatkal town.

The visuals show the orange car zooming past when it starts to move towards the right flank of the double-lane road. The out of control vehicles misses at least three pedestrians before ramming into the parked three-wheeler.
Though the car rammed into the autorickshaw and dragged it a few metres, the driver of the tuk-tuk escaped unscathed and his vehicle was partially damaged.

According to reports, the driver experienced an episode of epilepsy, which caused him to lose grip of the steering wheel.
