A farmer came up with an innovative idea to keep the monkeys attacking his coffee and cardamom farm at bay by painting his domestic dogs into two ferocious animals.
Although it may look hilarious to humans, the trick worked just fine for the farmer Shrikant Gowda who not only thought about this brilliant idea but also put it into execution.
The video shot exclusively by MIPA news shows the animal’s body painted with high quality colour that doesn’t even go away with wash.
The farmer to demonstrate and establish the claim threw the coloured canine into the water and then it came out safely without being discoloured at all.
The video further shows the way as to how the farmer took to paint the body of the dog.
He has two dogs named bulbul and Snoopy.
While he coloured Bulbul like a tiger he also painted snoopy like a patched cheetah.
Now whenever the monkeys come to attack his farms, they are scared by the renovated looks of the feline in the disguise of wild cats.
The dogs are regularly taken care right from their health to their diet, Gowda claims that not even a single monkey were able to steal the crop from his farms.
