Fathers' Day celebrations at Hualamphong train station in Bangkok on the birthday anniversary of the late King Bhumibol. The popular monarch died on October 13, 2016, aged 88. The governor of the State Railway of Thailand hung a garland on Pacific steam locomotive number 824 which was built in 1949 by Nippon Sharyo in Japan. Number 850 was built in 1950 by the same company. They run mainly on royal occasions. This excursion was taking hundreds of people to Chachoengsao in central Thailand.
