37 vehicles were involved in a massive pile-up on Chengdu-Zunyi Expressway, leaving 23 people injured.

The video, filmed on December 6, shows people fleeing as a vehicle smashes into a minibus.

Another clip shows a group of kind-hearted people trying to rescue the people trapped inside a car.

According to reports, there was thick fog and the road was frozen when the incident happened.

23 people were injured and sent to hospital. None of them was in life-threatening conditions.

The road has been cleared up and the traffic is back to normal.

12月6日上午8点20分左右，遵蓉高速贵州习水段坪上大桥发生多车连环追尾交通事故，相关部门紧急开展救援。初步核查，涉及车辆37辆，23人受伤入院治疗，其中骨折4人，软组织损伤18人，1人重度颅脑损伤，目前已从习水县转至遵义医学院进行救治。另外，还有30人正在检查中。

从贵州习水县委宣传部了解到，经初步检查，医院所有收治人员生命体征平稳，暂无生命危险。据现场目击者称，事发时有浓雾，且路面上有结冰现象。目前，事故现场已处置完毕，交通双向恢复正常通行。
