Virginia man 3D prints impressive electromagnetic levitating baby Yoda crib
A man in Dillwyn, Virginia, has managed to successfully create a levitating baby Yoda crib using his 3D printer combined with electromagnets.
The footage filmed on December 9 shows the crib spinning around while being suspended in the air by the force of the electromagnets underneath.
Josh Mosier told Newsflare: "I sourced the magnetic levitation base from [online retailer] AliExpress as a DIY kit. I combined two existing 3D models for the crib and for baby Yoda using 3D modelling software and adapted them to fit on the levitating magnet.
"I own a 3D printer in my apartment so I used it to print them out. The magnetic levitation kit was around $40 and the material cost was probably two to three dollars."
