A grandfather and granddaughter duo create characters from the Bible out of clay for Christmas after a ban on single-use plastic was enforced in India.

Badri Prasad and his granddaughter Reema collect clay from the river Ganga in Varanasi.

It's not more than 14 days ,and the world will celebrate Christmas festival . In varanasi city also it's celebrated enthusiastically . And preparations for this also also underway .

An artist name Badri Prasad makes clay statues from last many years .His granddaughter named Reema follow Bible and celebrate Christmas every year .Every year she decorates Church in her area .

She uses Bible characters also to decorate it ,earlier it was made up of plastics ,but now the plastic use is banned by local government in state . So this time she requested her grandfather to make all the characters of Bible with the help of clay of river Ganga .


Badri Prasad accepting her request made statues of Adam ,Eve ,Merry ,Peter ,David ,Moses Abrham .Badri says it took him 20days to make this ,and now he is giving it a final touch .After i complete it Reema willl paint it in difefrent colour .


Reema says that every year i decorate from plastic made character but this time it will be from clay ,i am sure people are going to like it very much .
