Veteran Labour MP John McDonnell held his seat in the Hayes and Harlington constituency but it turned ugly when a scuffle broke out in the crowd yesterday (December 12).

Footage shows police officers entering the crowd to break up the fight as press and onlookers record on their phones.

The filmer explained: "A fight broke out among people watching Labour's John McDonnell's victory speech after he was reelected in Hayes and Harlington constituency.

"Security couldn't tell me who the people were.

"Ali Milani, the Labour Party candidate running against Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Uxbridge and South Ruislip can be seen trying to break the fight apart with police officers.

"A woman turns to the media saying 'you're all fake, you lie to the people,' as John McDonnell continued with his speech."
