Australian kids pick coffee beans and make a cup of coffee from them

An Australian brother and Sister, Samuel (11) and his sister MIkalah (13) enjoy picking Arabica coffee beans and making a Vietnamese ice coffee from them. They've done it on a few occasions and this time their father, Jacob Strickling decided to set the equipment up near the trees and film the process. First they pick the beans, which are bright red and juicy when ready. They then squeeze the fruit with their fingers so that the bean pops out from the pulp. The beans are then roasted a first time and then the outer skin is removed. They are then roasted a second time and then crushed with a mortar and pestle. The flaky burnt shell is then blown away to separate it and then a third roasting occurs. Finally they are crushed on last time and added to the Vietnamese drip cup. Hot water is then added and golden brown liquid drips out. The kids then add ice and sweetened condensed milk and enjoy their ice coffee.
