Circus acrobats help retrieve reporter's drone from the top of utility pole
Circus performers put their climbing abilities to good use by retrieving a drone that was stuck on a utility pole.
The acrobats were preparing for the Chinese Dragon Festival in Chonburi, western Thailand last Wednesday (December 11) afternoon.
But a local reporter flew his drone near a 12ft-high utility pole where it became tangled by the power lines.
The mishap caused the preparations to be stopped while the circus performers had to use their equipment and abilities to retrieve the expensive DJI drone.
Footage shows the crews placing a pole from their show next to the utility pole before a youngster clambered to the top.
The boy picked up the drone and climbed back down easily. The drone was not damaged at all and the show preparations continued.
