Adorable Thai children take part in the fashion parade showing off traditional silk clothing.

The display of colourful handmade clothing dating back hundreds of years was held in Surin, northeastern Thailand on Thursday (12/12) night.

Footage shows the young models aged four to seven years old dressed in the silk clothes made in the region.

District sheriff Prapas Srichanwiang said it was an honour to be the host the festival promoting local products to visitors.

He said: "I am so proud that the event drew attention from the outside and I want this festival to be part of the identity of our district from now on."

The festival also hosted a contest for the most beautiful buffaloes, best crops and a singing contest as well as the young children in Thai silk seen in the video.
