A security camera in northern India has captured the moment a group of thieves cleaned out a mobile phone store and took off with around 20,000 US dollars of handsets and other merchandise.

The incident took place on December 25th in the town of Lapur in Uttarakhand state.

According to local reports, the thieves entered the showroom by breaking the locks.

They have not been caught by police.

An exorbitant heist was captured by CCTV cameras where thieves fled with mobile phones worth Rs. 15,00,000( $21000) in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand .

The incident took place on December 25 in a small town of Lapur located in the state’s Kichha district.

Visuals show three men break into the mobile showroom early in the morning.

A culprit immediately jumps on the counter and starts grabbing the phone boxes on the display.

Another aid goes around the counter with an empty sack as the culprit swiftly drops the phones into it.

Immediately a third assailant joins the fray as they empty the shelves.

Soon, the overflowing sack is carried out of the store by one of the lackey while the rest try to grab as many boxes they can with their hands.

The sneaky burglars don’t fail to check the cash drawer in an attempt to find more valuables.

According to the reports, the thieves entered the showroom by breaking the locks and are still on the run.

When the owner was made aware of the theft he immediately reported the crime to the law enforcement.

An investigation has started based on the information received from the footage.
