CCTV footage from December 26 in Borzont, Romania shows a one-year-old bear cub climbing a tree after meeting a big male bear.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Male bears may attack the cub to mate with the female bear so the life of the little hero was in danger.

"The cub climbed the tree until the male bear was gone."
