A flower garland seller dressed in a Spiderman outfit to try and revive his declining sales.

Locals spotted the superhero at the intersection in Ang Thong, central Thailand on Monday (23/12) morning.

Thongsuk Panongling, 52, said he had suffered from a drop in the number of lucky flowers he had sold, so had the idea to get more attention.

He said: "I have been selling Thai flower garlands at this intersection for 10 years and I've always worn a normal outfit.

"However, selling has been more difficult recently so I decided to dress more colourfully to make a selling point.

"My strategy is working as I have sold more garlands since I started to dress like this and the passer-by also smile at me.

"I usually come here at dawn and stay until noon before I go home to twine the garland for the next day."
