A mother left her two toddlers playing in the sand from under smashed pavement tiles while she worked. The youngsters were placed there by their mother, who was working an evening shift at the 7-Eleven shop next door in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 30 evening. They even had a bucket and spade as well as other toys to keep them entertained in the make-shift sand pit while their mother worked on the tills. The filmer said: ''Every so often she would come out and give them food, checking how they were. They looked safe enough. I'm not entirely sure if it's bad parenting or good parenting. It looked like the mother was doing her best to work and look after the kids at the same time.'' The sand pit is understood to have formed by accident from the damaged pavement outside the shop.
