Firemen from the Klein Volunteer Fire Department and Harris County Constables Precinct surprise 8-year-old Ezra at his home in Houston, Texas before taking him to a ceremony making him a honorary firefighter and policeman.

In the video, when asked what he wants to be when he grows up, Ezra says "I want to be Captain Underpants," making everyone in the fire engine laugh.

Ezra Menke has Gould Syndrome a rare genetic disorder that affects around 220 people in the world, including Ezra's mother. Ezra has been in and out of the hospital since he was 13 months old with medical issues related to his Gould Syndrome.

On November 24, 2019 Klein Volunteer Fire Department and Harris County Constable Precinct 4 made Ezra an honorary Fireman and Policeman. Ezra's group of support grew from this event with Fire, Police, and 501st Legion (Darth Vader) now become part of Ezra's "Hero Support".
