A play-acting pet dog yelps in mock pain as his owner pretends to punish him.

The eight-year-old Chuhuahua dog named Tone was caught damaging the family's garden in Nakhon Ratchasima, north eastern Thailand.

His master, Natpapon, scolded in and playfully pretended to slap his bottom. Even though Natpapon missed each time, the dog made a high-pitched squealing sound despite not being touched.

Natpapon's wife, Jirawan, captured the amusing scene at their home on December 26.

The husband said: "Tone often damages my handmade yard but this time he ruined parts of it. I just wanted to give him a lesson not to smash anything again.

"I know it was just fake suffering because we never touched him. Tone knew what he was doing. He is such a good actor, he could be in a movie.''
