Car crashes off 23-foot slope after driver presses accelerator by mistake in China
A car fell off a 22-foot slope after the driver pressed the accelerator by mistake during reversing in eastern China.
In the CCTV video, shot in the city of Longquan in Zhejiang Province on January 10, a car can be seen reversing towards the edge of the slope and then falling off.
Another clip shows the car lying upside-down at the foot of the slope.
According to reports, the driver Mr Zhao was about to reverse into the parking but he pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake.
Fortunately, the car hit a thicknet which helped slow down the vehicle before it hit the ground.
Mr Zhao and his wife both only suffered skin traumas, reports said.
