A local man, Ravi Kumar, 28, had a miraculous escape after he came under a runaway bullock cart.

The oxen, which were harnessed to a cart, during a religious festival at Moogur village in T Narasipura taluk in South India, panicked after someone set off a cracker close to them.

They started galloping, pulling along the cart, and ploughed into the crowd making people scatter. In the commotion, Ravi Kumar came under the cart, which dragged him for some distance.

Amazingly, he stayed between the two wheels of the cart and escaped with just light injuries.

After the cart passed over him, people at the festivals shifted the unconscious man to a hospital, where he fully recovered and went home.
