Amusing footage shows children boxing while wearing blind folds at a village festival.

The event took place in Songkhla, southern Thailand, last Saturday (Jan 11) morning to mark the country's national Children's Day.

Having been blindfold, the floor was then covered with Nipa leaves.

The youngsters had to find their opponents by listening to the sound when they trample on the leaves.

Struggling to see their way around the ring, many of the youngsters began flailing at thin air or hurling blows at the audience.

Some of them even landed blows on the referee.

Muay Thai boxing is a popular sport in Thailand where children can start competing when they re just a few years old. This event, however, was just for fun and nobody was hurt.
