A school bus carrying around 50 students in north India flipped onto its side while swerving to dodge a lorry on a foggy road, injuring at least four children.

The incident took place in Sultanpur Lodhi area, Jalandhar, Punjab on January 15 around 8:55am, with CCTV footage showing the truck passing on a fogbound road, and the bus crashing into the farm field and rolling onto its side.

The noise from the crash brought the attention of local villagers who came to help. At least four students suffered minor injuries and were treated at a nearby hospital.

A School bus with around 50 students in it turned turtle in Jalandhar’s Sultanpur Lodhi area , the incident happened on 15th january around 8:55 AM . The incident happened due to thick fog in the morning hours . According to local media reports the school bus due to thick fog couldn’t see the truck coming from another side and in an attempt to avoid the collision it drove into the slopy area of road and turned down in farm land . At the time of incident there was around 50 school students in the bus .. Listening the noise locals ran to rescue them . 4-5 Children have sustained minor injuries and was treated at nearby hospital .
