The Madurai Palamedu Jallikattu is being held today.

Around 700 bulls and 936 cow soldiers are expected to take part in the competition.

Bullocks from various areas including Madurai, Trichy, Kovai, Ramanathapuram, Pudukkottai, Paddy, Tirupur and Sivagangai are also participating in the Paramedu Jallikattu competition.

Cows and bullocks who have obtained a permit will be admitted to a medical examination for drug and physical fitness before being admitted.

The 10-member medical team, comprising 50 physicians, is ready to inspect the soldiers and provide medical assistance to the injured.

A group of 10 medical teams, including 10 doctors, are preparing to test the bulls.

This year, a bar line facility has been introduced in the permit card for bulls to prevent irregularities


Terms of use must not be based on drugs

Players who violate the rules will be disqualified

Around 75 players will be fielded in a rotation rate of one hour

Players who catch the most number of bulls in each round will be given the next round and field.
