Man explores the dramatic beauty of northern Pakistan in his late granddad's beaten up 1982 Toyota Corolla
My sanity and passion for what I do, drives my work and inspires me to my truest form. As there are ways to describe each moment, my quest for being a traveller, storyteller, explorer and entrepreneur, has led me to undefying paths and epic adventures.
Each day, each person I meet enriches my culture and traditions. To understand your roots and where you come from is the first step of understanding pretty much everything around you. In order to invent myself, I explore.
As times were changing, going more social and digital had its benefits. A strong PR and having the right mindset could do wonders in a country where one can change the perceptions of living the life.
This was the perfect time to execute the perfect idea. A self-built company that supported both my interest, hobbies and other financial gains. I came up with a brand new ideology of working from anywhere; this concept known as digital nomad.
Babusar was the first destination of my two week tour up north of Pakistan and it quickly became the first challenge for me to travel. It was in the month of May, when people are wearing summer clothes in the rest of the country, but Babusar has its own way of welcoming you in that season.
The roads were still blocked because of the melting glacier and landslides. I had to go every day 3 hours one way till Babusar Pass, through the snow walls and high tide water crossings, just to see if the pass was open or not. For 3 days it was same routine of packing up all of my stuff, in hopes of crossing the pass, but unfortunately couldn’t cross for 3 days.
One morning I got to know that it will be opened, as the team was working hard to clear the snow. I packed everything again, but with litte hope that I would actually be able to cross. Finally after another 3 hours grueling drive through all difficult obstacles, I managed to reach Babusar pass, waiting for 4 hours in almost -8C with freezing strong winds. Finally after an additional 4 hours of harsh weather the team cleared the pass
My story is one of many who try to be the best versions of themselves. Most believe, success comes in a fortnight but what it really takes is much more than the eye can perceive. Persistence, hope and faith is what will drive your success.
Needless to say, there is much more to learn and much more to experience.
That is my way of being who I am. A digital nomad, artist, & traveler.
