Multi agency search and rescue by Blackpool RNLI, Coastguard helicopter, police and Coastguards for missing fisherman in Blackpool.
This was a 9 hour search for a fisherman who had possibly gone in the sea after a member of the public found fishing equipment and rucksack unattended. Fortunately two days later the fisherman went to the local anglers shop to buy more equipment and that’s when he realised that there had been major a search and rescue to find him.
