Many injured in The world-famous bull taming festival in India
The world famous Alankanallur Jallikattu was launched.
Revenue Minister RB Udayakumar, Madurai district collector DG Vinayi South, IG Shanmukha Rajeswaran, members of the assembly, Gemikkam Murthy and many other government officials were present at the function.
There are 700 bullocks and 920 herdsmen participating in the Alankanallur Jallikattu.
Since more than 10,000 people are coming to see this Jallikattu competition, preparations have been made for it.
2 cars to be awarded to the winners of the competition and the bullock players. More than 2 thousand policemen are on guard.
This year 100 foreign tourists are invited to visit the Alankanallur Jallikattu through the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation.
Similarly, 58 people from the periphery of Chennai are being brought in as tourists on behalf of the tourism industry. Bulls have been brought in from the outposts for tomorrow's jelly.
