Lucky residents of a town in Madhya Pradesh in northern India were amazed this week to spot a white crow

According to locals, the highly unusual bird has been seen in the town of Agar for the last few days.

A clip filmed on Friday (January 17th) showed the animal feeding and preening its white plumage just a few feet away from some black crows.

It's unclear exactly why this specimen is white although birds can have albinism which is a genetic mutation which results in the lack of an enzyme essential to produce melanin.

In a rare sighting in Madhya Pradesh Agar malwa district a white crow is being seen from last couple of days . According to locals they are quite surprised and shocked to see this white crow , as they have never seen white crown in their entire life .. Locals says that this white crow is sighted every morning . According to local forest department officials this is really unique to see a white crow , we have also never heard or seen any such case . According to them this could be due to some jeens issue .
