Baby born with two heads, four arms and four legs baffles doctors in western India
In an extremely rare case of conjoined twins, a 23-year-old woman in Rajasthan delivered twin boys with a shared body.
The mother delivered the baby around 11:00 pm on 19 January through C-section.
According to the reports, Mamta, a resident of village Malnu of Bali subdivision of Pali district, Rajasthan, was admitted to Dr. Sobha Nursing Home, where she gave birth to the child and it is believed to be a premature baby.
The unique thing is that the twin boys are joined at the head with a shared body. There are four legs and four arms in addition to two heads.
Reports also say, one of these children is immature and has issues in its heart and lungs.
According to Dr. Shobha Varma, this is a very rare case and the child's condition is critical and this case is the first time in the pali district.
