Horrifying moment when loose rocks fell and crushed an excavator machine, burying the driver with it in the east Indian state of Jharkhand.

The incident took place on January 20 in a small village of Potka located in the state's East Singhbum district.

Visuals show the rescuers navigating two additional excavators(poclain) near the crash site, strategically removing the fallen rocks from the top of the crushed vehicle.

Footages also show the injured driver trapped within the automobile as the rescue operation is underway.

According to the reports, the accident took place when loose rocks fell on the excavator which was digging through the stone quarry.

The injured driver was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital after the rescuers dug him out after 3-hours.
