Face masks were sold out in several pharmacies in China during the outbreak of a new deadly coronavirus.

The video, filmed on January 21, shows residents queuing in a line to buy masks in a pharmacy and some of them can be seen holding several boxes of masks in their hands.

Another clip, captured in the city of Hefei in Anhui Province on January 21, the shelves where the masks would be stored were completely empty in a pharmacy.

Due to the spread of the SARS-like virus which has killed six people already, residents grabbed masks sold in pharmacies to protect themselves.
