Chilling heist was captured on surveillance cameras when five thieves ran away with cash worth $ 5613.05 after looting a departmental store in the north Indian state of Haryana. The incident took place on January 18 in the Basantpur locality of Faridabad. Visuals show the five masked miscreants stealthy lifting the shutter of the store, while vigilantly keeping a lookout around the premises. Next, three burglars are seen quickly making their way towards the cash counter and emptying the cash in a plastic sack. Fortunately, their operation was interrupted half-way when the owner sensed their presence and raised an alarm. According to the reports, the culprits immediately fled the scene after the alarm was raised. The ruckus woke the family of the store owner who lived behind the shop and in a futile attempt to chase them left one of the kin with a broken leg.
