This is the hilarious moment two grandmothers in the eighties entertained revellers with their own brand of dirty dancing.

The pair - both in their eighties - began throwing shapes during a village show in Chumphon, southern Thailand yesterday (Jan 24) night.

Despite a young coyote dancer in a sailor's costume at the front of the event, it was the two grey-haired pensioners who received most of the attention for their confident display.

Footage shows them proudly showing off their own style of sexy moves - grabbing their cleavage and bouncing it up and down in time with the electronic dance music.

The amusing scene was captured by Thitima Kaewthavon, one of the crew that supplied the lighting and sound equipment for the village event.

She said the woman on the left is named Nam, 80, and her friend on the right is called, Now, 87, and they are neighbours. They are both widows.

Thitima said: ''I've travelled all around the country doing shows and never seen anything like these two old grandmothers.

''Their names are Nam and Now. They made everybody laugh with their sexy dancing. I think they both want to be coyote dancers.

''It is lovely to see two old people outside enjoying themselves instead of being forgotten about in their home and on their own.

''The video of them has inspired many people to enjoy themselves and not to take life too seriously.''
