Enthusiastic Seeing Attractions at Chinese New Year, Children in Indonesia Give Angpao to the Lion Dance
One of the excitement of the Chinese New Year in the city of Padang, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia is the presence of Barongsai and Dragon Dance (Liong) art performances.
On the eve of Chinese New Year 2071, the art attraction was displayed on the See Hin Kiong Temple page.
The annual performance was used by parents to introduce their children to the Chinese art.
The children looked enthusiastic watching the show when the Lion Dance jumped and acted cute. Likewise, when a dragon swerves under a lantern.
A toddler even gives Angpao or presents directly to the lion's mouth.
This is certainly a new experience for children to get to know culture and diversity.
