Chinese police smash mahjong tables to stop residents gathering during the coronavirus outbreak
Police were captured violently smashing automatic mahjong tables to stop players from gathering during the coronavirus outbreak in eastern China.
The video, shot in the county of Dangtu in Anhui Province on January 28, shows a police officer using an axe to smash an automatic mahjong table.
According to reports, local police smashed 16 mahjong tables to drive away the players gathering. The owners of the mahjong tables were told off by the police.
