Sholikah Aeeo saw the feline playing in her yard in Jawa Tengah, Indonesia last Thursday (24/01) afternoon.

Footage shows how the little cat stared at the butterfly as it fluttered around the tree before leaping at the creature and tumbling into the gutter.

Sholikah said it was amusing see the cat try to catch the butterfly. She said: "He was learning to catch a butterfly but he only learned about falling down instead."
