Shonchalai is a shaman from the clan line Salgyn (Veter, 1705) of the Khakass clan Ah Khaskh (Belaya Kost, 1293) and the clan line Hovenmei (Myagky, 1915) of the Tuvan clan Bai-Kara (Velikiy Cherny, 1438).
