Police launch murder probe after teenage boy is found stabbed to death

Police are hunting a knifeman after a horrified member of the public discovered a teenage boy stabbed to death in a field last night (Wed). Emergency services were called to Petitor Crescent, in Wood End, Coventry, after the victim was found with multiple stab wounds to his torso at around 7pm. Despite efforts to save the boy, believed to be in his teens, he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. West Midlands Police has launched a murder probe and urged anyone with information to get in touch.
