This is the moment armed police found the bodies of three hostages killed by the Thai shopping mall shooter this morning.

Sergeant Major Jakrapanth Thomma, 32, was holed up all night at the Terminal 21 building in Nakhon Ratchasima after killing 20 people and taking hostages.

The crazed gunman killed after a shootout with police marksmen at around 9am local time this morning (Feb 9)

He was shot dead inside the Foodland supermarket on the ground floor of the shopping mall in Korat.

Officers entering the area then discovered one dead woman a dead man and a dead army officer. It is not know how long they had been dead.

But all three were hostages that the berserk soldier had been holding for more than 15 hours after be began the twisted rampage the previous day.
