A man in central India tried to board a moving train while carrying his aged mother on his back, only for both of them to slip and almost fall under the train.

CCTV cameras on Platform 1 of a railway station in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, filmed the duo trying to board train number 12919 on February 8.

Though the train had begun to move the man, who was travelling with his partially disabled mother, decided to go for it. He made her climb onto his back before attempting to board the train.

The pair luckily cheated death thanks to an alert cop who pulled them to safety.
