Hemet Fire and PD responded to reports of a gunshot wound victim in the parking lot of the El Patron Bar and Grill at 2524 E Florida Ave, Hemet. Arriving crews located one subject down shot at least twice in the stomach and the hand. The shooter left the location possibly westbound on Florida Ave in a grey Honda Accord and at this time is still outstanding. Security on scene attempted to stop the victim and the alleged shooter who were arguing before the shooting occurred and the suspects fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. A second victim unknown if related to the shooting was transported by a second AMR unit in unknown condition. Officers have the parking lot cordoned off as a crime scene as they are investigating the area and a vehicle that was struck by gunfire to the rear. The cause of the shooting is unknown at this time.
