Indonesian officials have issued a reward for the removal of a tyre that has been stuck around a crocodile's head since 2016.

The crocodile was found swimming in the Palu River in Palu City on February 11 still with the tyre lodged around its head.

A team led by the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) Officer along with Australian Reptile Observer Matt Wright will attempt to remove the tyre.

They have prepared a large cage and hope to lure the crocodile into it where they can they restrain the animal and remove the tyre.

Until now there has been no one who can help this four-meter long crocodile.

Although the competition has been carried out by the government, but there is no one who can help this type of crocodile estuary.

Now, a team led by the Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) along with Australian Reptile Observer Matt Wright will help this crocodile.

They have prepared a large cage made of iron to enter the crocodile.

They hope that the crocodile wrapped in tires will enter their mandant when fed with a duck as food.

This poor crocodile has been wrapped around motorcycle tires since 2016. Motorcycle tires are rubbish that is dumped by the crocodile habitat community in the river.
