Garbage rivers in the capital of Indonesia Jakarta
While traveling in Indonesia, I had to watch rivers full of garbage in Jakarta. People living in slums do not have sewers, garbage collection is absent and it is simply thrown into rivers and canals. The city has a terrible stench. People are hoping for the rainy season when this rubbish is washed into the ocean. But they will continue to throw garbage into the rivers. Jakarta is one of the dirtiest and stinkiest cities I have ever seen!
