Chinese police officer lights up road using patrol drone for pedestrian walking along at night
A police officer used a patrol drone to light up a dark road for a pedestrian at night in eastern China.
The video, shot in the city of Taizhou in Zhejiang Province on February 8, shows a beam of light from a drone following a pedestrian walking along a street in the dark.
After the pedestrian realised that the drone was helping light up the road for him, he gave a thumbs-up to express his gratitude.
According to the policeman named Zhou, he spotted the person when using the drone to patrol the nearby area.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, public transport has been suspended and residents need to walk or cycle for a long distances in the dark to get groceries.
