A woman in southern China without a mask climbed over guardrails above a river after being refused passage through an epidemic prevention point.

The video, filmed in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on February 11, shows a woman without wearing a mask having an argument with the worker at an epidemic prevention point after being stopped and refused entry.

The woman then climbed over the guardrails on a bridge above a river.

Since there was an embankment under the bridge, the woman did not fall into the water, but she hid underneath the bridge.

Finally, police borrowed a boat to send the woman back to the shore.

According to reports, the woman had an argument with her husband and was not in a good mood. Police told her off and she was brought back home by her husband.

2月11日11时许，来自湖北宣都市的严某某途径白云湖街环滘村桥头防疫联控点时，因未佩戴口罩并欲强行通过时，与防控点工作人员发生争吵，随后翻越桥栏跳下。幸好桥栏外侧有一处平台，平台下是绿化带，女子所幸未掉入水中。不了女子又钻入桥底。大家只能无奈报警，警察借来一艘小船，将该女子送回岸边。随后，属地派出所民警将该女子带回派出所调查。
经了解，该女子在附近居住，因与丈夫发生争吵导致情绪不佳，在防疫检查点与工作人员发生争吵。后经派出所民警对其教育引导后，由其丈夫带回家进行安抚。

据调查，该女子属于留守广州的湖北籍人员，近期一直在广州，没有回过湖北。其他情况有待进一步调查。
