A bull which fell into a dry well in north India was rescued after a marathon five hour operation to dig it free.

The animal is believed to have fallen into the well on the night of February 12 near Farrukhabad, in the Kayamganj Mandi area, Uttar Pradesh.

Some villagers were passing through the area that morning, when they hears the bull's cries, they found the distressed animal and informed the police and forest department for help.

The rescue team dug up the adjacent area around the well and used an excavator to lift the bull free.

The animal received some scratches on its body, which were treated by vets.

During 12th Feb morning when some villagers were passing through a area they hear voice of bull in pain ,they found a bull their and informed the police and forest department . Rescue team has to dig the adjacent area around the well to pull out the bull ...rescue team with the help of pokeland machine rescue out the bull after 5 hours . Bull have got some scratches on his body which was treated by the vet doctors .
