This used plastic market is China. industry in china is booming. they need a large supply of plastic. Indonesia is one of the biggest used plastic suppliers to China.
Corona virus outbreaks make China isolated from the world. industry stopped, no ships came to China, and Chinese ships were refused entry in many countries including Indonesia. flights to and from China are closed. the suppliers of goods for industry in China were hit. Many stacked goods are not taken by exporters. because the warehouse is full. no goods are transported to china. this condition has lasted two weeks
the bosses of used plastic collectors' booths were hit. goods are not taken by the exporter. but goods that are collected by mobile collectors must still be purchased. they must prepare Rp. 20 million / day to buy used plastic that comes to their shanties.
