A reckless tractor driver, who was speeding, survived miraculously after triggering a stunning accident.

He hit the divider, crossed over to the opposite lane, and crashed into a car coming from the other side. His cargo of heavy logs flew under the impact and crushed his seat.

The crash was severe enough to make one of the tractor tyres come loose and roll away.

But the tractor driver escaped without any injury as he was flung to a safe distance as soon as he hit the divider.

The lucky man missed the divider barricade, the logs and the car. As onlookers rushed to the spot, he crawled a bit, got back on his feet and ran away.

The dramatic incident occurred at Jagadhri town in Yamunanagar district in Northern India on February 15.

Eyewitnesses said the tractor was dangerously speeding on the highway when it hit the divider.

The car driver, Sanjay Gupta, a bank manager, was driving to work when the mishap happened. Though he also escaped unhurt, his car was damaged.

Gupta has given a complaint to the police against the errant tractor driver.
