Tidal Surge Catches Drivers off Guard on Beach - Storm Denis
A storm surge suddenly comes on shore at Benone beach, N. Ireland during storm denis. Drivers frantically try to escape before being engulfed by the rushing high water. I was one of those drivers, my dash cam captured the moment, due to the cars all moving at once it was unsafe to suddenly reverse so I had to let it over take us and wait for the water to recede so we could get back again, we got stuck but we were helped out my passersby who pushed us out, Everyone safe and fine, but it made for a dramatic moment, excuse some of the colourful words, my wife was a little shook up.
