A terrified woman found a 15ft long cobra coiled around her toilet.

Thanyaporn Prempreeda, 26, came home from work and went into the bathroom in Nakhon Si Thammarat last Thursday (February 13) evening.

She switched on the light and was shocked to see the huge snaked wrapped around the u-bend in her loo.

The farm worker crept out of the room slowly to avoid scaring the creature, then slammed the door and ran from the bathroom.

She contacted snake handlers who peeked through the door looking for the serpent when they saw it hiding behind a water tank.

They had to lure the serpent to slowly slither out as it was hiding its head behind the flush because they need to use the snake catching rod to catch it by its head.

The rescuer volunteer finally could grabbed the 15ft long snake head when it started to loosen from the flush but it was big that they had to use four men to wrestle it into the sack.

Thanyaporn said she was lucky to see it first before it could attack her.

She said: "The king cobra was so big and I think it could have attacked me if I had gone closer.

''I was lucky seeing it first before I sat down to use the toilet. I creeped out of the bathroom slowly to prevent him from startled and attack me.''

There were the locals who heard about the big king cobra gathered around the house watching the snake which they believed brought luck throughout the catch.
