Ice storm freezes trees solid during wettest January day in Canadian history
An ice storm during the wettest January in Canadian history has frozen these collapsed trees solid and the result is oddly beautiful.
This ice storm hit southern Ontario on January 11 and the footage was filmed at a high point in elevation [1,500 meters].
The filmer told Newsflare: "This is not uncommon for the season.
"During this storm we were lucky it was a degree colder because 100 millimeters of rain fell."
